The Nurse Collective is a registered nurse led aesthetics clinic that treats the face as a whole rather than one area in isolation. You get honest advice, expectations managed properly, and results that still look like you.
Every treatment starts with a proper conversation about what you actually want and whether it is right for you. If something will not suit you I will tell you honestly, and I will never sell you a treatment you do not need.
Softening the lines that come with expression and time, dosed conservatively so your face still moves and still looks like yours.
Basic and advanced filler to restore volume and structure where it has been lost, planned across the whole face rather than chasing one feature.
Hydration and skin quality treatments that work under the surface to improve how your skin looks and feels over a course.
Collagen stimulating treatments that work gradually to support firmness and structure, suited to skin that needs rebuilding rather than filling.
Controlled needling that prompts your skin's own repair process to improve texture, tone and overall quality over a course, carried out with proper technique rather than a device you would use at home.
Resurfacing treatments including our Derma 2.0 4D Peel Scrub that lift away tired surface skin and leave it looking fresher and brighter, with an honest chat first about what suits your skin.
Targeted vitamin injections to support energy and general wellbeing, offered as part of looking after yourself from the inside out.
Structured filler packages for faces that have changed after significant weight loss, restoring volume in a measured way over time.
A full assessment and an honest plan, with no pressure to book anything on the day and no treatment sold that you do not need.
Weight loss changes the face as much as it changes the body. As the deeper fat pads shrink and the skin loses its support, the face can start to look tired, hollow or older than it actually feels.
This is one of the areas I am known for, and it is planned carefully over time rather than filled all at once. The aim is to bring back structure and freshness while keeping everything in proportion, so you look like a well rested version of yourself and not someone who has obviously had work done.
Book a ConsultationThe Nurse Collective is a CPD accredited training provider and every course is accredited with IPHM. Training is delivered by medical professionals, with small numbers, real models and proper support after you qualify.
For those coming into aesthetics without needling experience, this is a structured six month route rather than a one day certificate. You finish with a genuine foundation to practise safely, and support behind you while you build.
Some of what we teach works brilliantly online. Theory, anatomy, complications knowledge and the business side of aesthetics can all be studied from home at your own pace, while the hands on practical work stays exactly where it belongs, in clinic with real supervision.
I am currently building the online side of The Nurse Collective Academy, and the first courses will open to a small founding group before anyone else. If you register your interest now you will be the first to hear when doors open.

I am a registered nurse with almost eight years in aesthetics and a healthcare background that goes back to 2011. I graduated with a first class honours degree in 2018, worked in intensive care and palliative care, moved into nurse management, and helped commission a private healthcare facility in 2022.
I founded this clinic as Char Aesthetics in 2018 and rebranded to The Nurse Collective in 2026, with a wider vision for collaboration across nursing, aesthetics, skin, beauty and wellbeing. My approach is anatomy led and honest. I treat the face as a whole, I manage expectations properly, and I will always tell you the truth about what will and will not work for you.

What started with me has grown into a team of professionals who share the same standards, the same honesty and the same obsession with natural results. The Nurse Collective is exactly that, a collective, and it reflects the direction I have been building towards for a long time.
When you come in you are looked after by people who genuinely care about getting it right for you, rather than about selling you something you do not need. Community, education and high standards sit behind everything we do.
Some things are easier to show than to tell. Over on TikTok you can see real treatments, honest advice and the everyday side of the clinic, so you get a proper feel for how we work before you ever book.

Five star reviews, and a clinic that has grown almost entirely through results people can see and clients who tell their friends. Thank you for trusting me with your faces, your confidence and your time.

Janice BurnsThe honest answers to the things people ask me most, both about treatments and about training. If your question is not here, send an enquiry and I will answer it properly.
Most treatments are far more comfortable than people expect. Anti wrinkle injections use tiny needles and are over quickly, and filler is carried out with numbing and, where it helps, products that already contain anaesthetic, so we keep you comfortable throughout. I will always talk you through exactly what to expect before we begin.
That is exactly what I work to avoid. Everything here is dosed conservatively and planned across the whole face so you look fresh and still like yourself rather than obviously treated. If what you actually want is an overfilled look, I am honestly not the right person for you.
It depends on the treatment, the product and your own body, so I will give you a realistic range at your consultation rather than a promise. Some treatments last a few months and others considerably longer, and honest guidance for your specific case always comes before any figure.
Yes for anything you have not had before or want to talk through properly. A consultation is a full assessment and an honest plan with no pressure to book anything on the day. Treatments you have already decided on can be booked directly through ThatTime.
Most treatments let you get back to your day fairly quickly, though some redness, swelling or bruising to begin with is normal and settles over the following days. I will tell you honestly what to expect for your specific treatment so you can plan around anything important.
Yes, this is one of the areas I am known for. Weight loss changes the face as the deeper support is lost, and it is restored carefully over time rather than filled all at once. We would start with a consultation and a staged plan that keeps everything in proportion.
No. The Non Medic Starter Pathway is built specifically for people coming in without a medical background or evidenced needling experience, and it takes you from the very beginning to practising safely over six months. There are also advanced courses for those who are already qualified.
